FANTAIL

HOW IT WORKS

Instant is the format. Specialty is the standard.

Fantail makes rare single-origin coffees portable. No equipment, no pods, no hotel-room compromise.

Selected as coffee first

Fantail starts with single-origin coffees chosen for clarity, sweetness, and character.

Brewed and freeze-dried

Each lot is brewed, freeze-dried, and portioned so it can travel without grinders, filters, scales, or machines.

Released in small drops

Drops are announced to First Flight members before public release. Once a batch closes or sells out, it moves to the archive.

FAQ

Is this normal instant coffee?

No. Instant is the format, not the standard. Fantail is made from single-origin coffees selected for taste and released in limited batches.

How much water should I use?

Start with 180ml hot water per sachet. Use slightly less water for more intensity or a little more for a lighter cup.

Will sold-out drops return?

Usually no. Each release is tied to a specific batch. If a coffee returns, it will be treated as a new release with updated notes.

Do you ship to Australia?

The first launch is being planned around New Zealand. Australia is the next likely market once fulfilment and shipping economics are settled.

Why is it more expensive than regular instant?

Fantail is priced against specialty coffee, not supermarket instant. The cost reflects the coffee quality, batch size, and production process.
